Club closed - back in September!

Warwick Folk Club is mainly an

acoustic venue. We have three

formats for a night’s entertainment.

There are Performers’ Nights when

we are hosts to anyone who wants

to sing, play or even recite!

Then we have Feature Nights when we showcase top local artists who will normally perform two half hour sets during the course of the evening.

On these nights we also

hear floor singers who have

pre-booked their spot.

Thirdly, we have Concert Nights on

which we have the best traditional,

contemporary and comic

performers on the folk scene today

such as Martin Carthy,

Steve Tilston and Les Barker.

 On Performers’ Nights floor singers

are always welcome on a “first

there” basis - make sure you're

there well before 8 p.m. Everyone

arriving early enough is guaranteed

at least two songs. It  can be more

depending on how many people

want to perform. We welcome first-

timers and old hands alike -

everyone will enjoy a warm and

supportive reception.

We have a very broad musical

policy: traditional tunes and self-

penned material, blues and ballads,

jazz standards & classic pop songs,

music hall numbers and

monologues have all been

enthusiastically received.

Do come and give us a try!

And of course, you're more than welcome to come along and just listen!
